Nitrile Rubber / NBR NBR is an acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer, and it is a rubber that excels significantly in oil resistance. It is broadly used in automotive parts and industrial goods.
Butyl Rubber / IIR IIR has excellent gas impermeability and offers good weatherability and resistance to ozone and heat. It is mainly used in tire inner tubes and liners. In addition, butyl rubber halogenated with chlorine or bromine has a high vulcanization rate, allowing co-vulcanization with highly unsaturated rubber.
Ethylene Propylene Rubber / EPM, EPDM As the main polymer molecule chain of EP does not have double bonds, it has better resistance to heat, ozone, and weathering compared to diene rubber. Besides automotive parts such as packing and hoses, it is used in electrical cables/wires, belts, waterproof sheets, and as a modifier in synthetic resins.
