Human Rights Consultation Contact Points for Suppliers
The ENEOS Group is strengthening its efforts to ensure respect for human rights throughout its supply chain in collaboration with its suppliers. As part of this initiative, we have established human rights consultation contact points for suppliers who have direct business relationships with us, through which they may seek consultation regarding human rights issues related to our operations.
1. Target Users
Suppliers that have direct business relationships with ENEOS Materials (excluding its group companies).
- In principle, we do not respond individually to consultations from those other than the above; however, the information provided may be used to help identify human rights risks in the ENEOS Group.
2. Types of consultation topics accepted
We accept inquiries regarding human rights issues involving ENEOS Materials (excluding its group companies) or its officers or employees.
Examples:
- Harassment by our employees
- Cases in which individuals have been subjected to harsh working conditions as a result of actions by ENEOS Materials
- Discriminatory remarks or behavior by our employees
- In principle, we do not respond individually to inquiries that do not involve ENEOS Materials (excluding its group companies) or its officers or employees. However, the information provided in such inquiries may be used to help identify human rights risks in the ENEOS Group.

4. User protection
- Once we receive a consultation, we will conduct the necessary investigation only after obtaining the user’s consent, unless there are justifiable reasons to do otherwise.
- We will keep the fact that a consultation was made and the details of the consultation confidential and will use such information only for the purposes of investigation and taking appropriate action.
- We will make every effort to ensure that users do not suffer any disadvantages as a result of seeking consultation.
- We do not restrict users from seeking resolution through other channels or procedures for issues raised through this consultation service.
5. Things to Keep in Mind When Seeking Consultation
- All consultations will be received by the contact point established at an external law firm. In addition, subsequent communications on behalf of our company may also be handled through this law firm. Please understand this in advance before contacting us.
- Before seeking consultation, please confirm that your inquiry falls within the scope of this contact point. If it is determined to fall outside the scope, we will not provide individual support. Thank you for your understanding.
- We also accept anonymous inquiries; however, please note that this may limit our ability to investigate and verify the facts, and we may not be able to provide updates on the status of the response.
